“ It's been a while since we ate here. We decided to have an early dinner at 5:30pm after we saw the sign that they have chicken katsu. We were immediately seated after we entered the restaurant. - Chicken katsu set: the chicken pieces were thick & tender. The coating was crispy. My hubby asked for the second bowl of rice because it was that good. - Maze Abura soba: delicious! This soupless ramen had generous portions (I asked for free extra noodle). The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The meat was super flavorful and the onsen egg was soft and had creamy yolk. ”
“ The food and service is top notch. K our server is the best. He was fast and on top of everything. Can't wait to come back ”
“ Stopped by this shopping area after a morning ski in Sierra and glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff was so nice and the food came out sooo fast - BONUS! My husband and I both ordered ramen. I ordered the Tori Ramen and it was delicious!! I was amazed at the black garlic oil (never had it before) and I loved it. It's not overpowering but definitely added an amazing flavor to the ramen. You can also get complimentary extra noodles at the time of ordering which is cool and which is what we did. It was definitely more than enough noodles. We loved our ramen so much, we barely spoke while eating. We just devoured our food haha. If ever we're in the area, we'll definitely be back!! ”
“ We wanted ramen for Valentine's so Fukumi's it was! Really great ambiance and great service! Elizabeth was our waitress, and she, and the other waiter, were so considerate and helpful. We started with the Soft-shell crab, which was refreshingly thalassic and gave a good crunch. Before we knew it, our ramens were coming out. My husband got the Tan tan and I got the Fukumi. The Tan tan was rich and creamy, with some spice and thick noodles. Although delicious, the heaviness made it difficult to finish. I'm sure his Yuzu drink helped cut the richness. My Fukumi was what I'd describe as cleaner with nice, thin noodles. Despite ordering extra noodles, the Fukumi was fulfilling without being too heavy. Our baby enjoyed the noodles too! We got a bunch of tapas to-go, which didn't take too long, and our kids have no complaints. They were packaged very well. My eldest loved the chicken karaage! My second was able to stretch the Ika Yaki into two meals at home when paired with rice, and even shared some slices! It's a good-sized squid. ”
“ I went to Fukumi Ramen for their annual red envelope event where you can draw for a giftcard after dining in. The service was quick since it was a Wednesday afternoon and it's located in Palladio so plenty of parking. I got their mini rice bowl since I wasn't too hungry and it was okay. It would taste better with some sauce as it was a bit dry. I was glad it wasn't too salty but nothing stood out. I would recommend getting a ramen next time as that's is what they are known for. ”
“ First time here. The tan tan ramen was great. The soburo rice bowl was tasty. Chashu bun was very good. I also loved the garlic edamame. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were pretty clean for the most part. I'm glad we decided to give this place a try since we don't live in the area either. ”
“ We've been here a few times and I always forget to take a photo and write a review because we are usually heading to a movie! This time I remembered to take a photo of my Tori Miso Ramen with corn and pork belly. I like the flavor but usually give the chasu to my son. The broth is deep with flavor, not too salty, and you can also order extra noodles, which is did because I love taking home the extra for the next days lunch. I also ask for the corn to be added as it gives a slight sweetness to the dish and a fresh texture. The soft boiled egg is a must. There's always a line or groups waiting for tables. Once you're seated and they take your order, the food doesn't take too long but it's not a quick turn either which is okay since the ramen comes piping hot. Most evenings are pretty busy, lots of families as well. Conversations can be hard to hear especially in big groups. Overall, pretty reliable for good ramen. ”
“ We were inmediately greeted and seated when we entered. And the look and feel of the place inside was so inviting and comfortable, a very well decorated interior! Not too dark and not too bright... Our orders did not take long to arrive. And the staff were so diligent in checking out after us. My order was the Fukumi Ramen and it tasted great! My favorite ramen spot in the city has competition! And the price is pretty affordable for the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the great staff! You just have to go and try out this place! ”
“ Came in on a Saturday afternoon and the staff was nice to give us a table that could fit our stroller. We got our menus and saw the same ramens as the other locations. As we've had their ramen before we wanted to try their katsu menu. We got the pork katsu set, pork katsu donburi, and kids ramen. The set came with miso soup, cabbage salad, rice, and pickles. The katsu felt smaller but was still pretty filling. The breading was great, very light and crispy, but not too greasy. Loved that it was served on a wire rack, reminded me of the meal we had in Japan. The katsu donburi came with rice, katsu mixed with egg and pickled ginger. We felt the katsu was still crispy even mixed with the egg. The kids ramen came with corn, chasu and noodles. Our kid devoured it and wished it came with a little more noodles. The menu said free extra noodles but we didn't ask if that applied to the kids. The overall space was pretty big, with several tables and bar seating. Service was great. We really enjoyed our meal and will probably come back to try some of the tapas and other katsu items. ”
